WIFLE Founders

In 1977, the Interagency Committee for Women in Federal Law Enforcement (ICWIFLE) was launched by the U.S. Departments of Justice and Treasury to recruit and retain more women in Federal law enforcement. ICWIFLE operated through June 1999 when the organization was formally incorporated as Women in Federal Law Enforcement, Inc. (WIFLE) by which the organization is known to this day. Read our history.
